He was 54 when he walked in.
He had done everything he was supposed to do. Gym membership. Machines, cardio, the routine everyone does. When that stalled, he hired a personal trainer and paid good money for it.
What he got was a printout. It was the same program the trainer handed the client before him and would hand the client after him. He showed up. He did the work. Almost nothing changed.
He was not lazy. He was not doing it wrong. He was doing someone else's program, built for someone else's body.
Then he started training in The Empire Method. Strength, mobility, martial arts, and recovery. All of it built around him. All of it connected. The change came, and it came fast.
But what stayed with me was not his results. It was what he said:
He did not need more effort. He needed a program built for him.
That is why I built the Forge.
